St Gabriel's Church

We had a fairly busy day today and as well as food we were able to give away clothes toys and lots of sweets. The best thing is we were able to share Jesus with some very needy people. God continues to bless us and enable us to continue the work of the foodbank. We had donations of food as well as monetary donations from individuals and local businesses we also had a Christmas tree donated which went quickly (along with lights and baubles from the Thrift Shop). Many people were blessed and there was a good feel to the whole session. Praise God. Due to the generosity of so many local people we still  have plenty of food available. If you know any one who would benefit from it please have them contact us and we will be glad to help.

Hello, It's the Third Sunday of Advent already! I hope your Christmas preparations are going well. Please let me know if there is anything you need help with. I had hoped to grow enough potatoes to feed the parish, but I'm afraid they probably won't be the right size until April!   I'll keep you posted with all the Christmas services.   Hello,   We're back in Cleo's this Sunday, but for those who can't make it, here's a service for the Second Sunday of Advent.
